Cat Allies Project Stories
Meet Aki
When we saw you on the street, despite your fluffy fur, you were thin and covered in wounds. It was clear you had been abandoned. You walked into the cage on your own, maybe knowing you'd be safe from bullying. Feeling your bony spine broke our hearts. After spaying and vaccinations, your cuteness quickly found you a home. But then your health declined, and the vet diagnosed you with lymphoma, suggesting immediate euthanasia. Even though the adopter returned you, we took you back and cared for you with love. After a year with three amazing fosters, you're now energetic and playful. Keep being happy, AKi. We'll stay with you until the end.

Meet Tari
Tari, born on the streets of Elizabeth, was gentle but often bullied and injured by other strays. Despite this, you were always the first to greet the feeder, seeking affection. We decided to rescue you and find you a forever home. You had ringworm, lost all your fur, and had severe stomatitis needing tooth extractions. After care from three dedicated fosters, you recovered. Many were scared off by your condition, but your adopter saw your photo and immediately wanted you. Thank you to the adopter and fosters for giving Tari a loving home and ending his life as a stray.
Meet Orange
When we rescued you from your abusive owner, you were covered in wounds but still trusted humans, meowing and snuggling up to us. Our home was full, so we found you a foster to heal and relax. Soon after, we discovered you had ringworm and FIP. we brought you back and dedicated a room for your recovery. Despite daily injections, you sat quietly and leaned in for affection. After over a month of treatment, you sadly passed away in our arms. We hope you're now free from pain and happily playing among the stars.
